Thermal imaging applications
Spectrogon manufactures infrared filters and windows both for the 3-5 μm and the 8-12 μm atmospheric window. These filters are suitable for infrared imaging applications such as thermography, night vision, surveillance, fire fighting, mine detection, medical imaging,preventive maintenance and industrial process control.

Dimensions
Spectrogon manufactures filters and windows from Ø6.0 to Ø200.0 mm. The wafers can be diced to custom-made sizes, down to as small as 1.0x1.0 mm. Thickness from 0.3 to 3.0 mm.

Coating process
Spectrogon’s infrared filters and windows are manufactured with a hard coating technique which gives films with superior environmental stability.
The coatings meet MIL-F-48616: temperature, humidity, mild abrasion and adherence.Manufacturing processes conform to environmental regulations; RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) EU 2002/95/EC and REACH (Registration, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals) EC 1907/2006).
